She Shall Be Called Woman Registration Opens this Month!

In a couple of weeks, the Program Coordination team will contact the individuals on our list to provide the details you need to present the program to your parish.  Click here to join the list!

Program Overview:She Shall Be Called Woman is a transformative journey designed to meet the deepest longings of the feminine heart. Our program is a sanctuary for women seeking to be truly seen, known, and loved as they grow in their relationships with the Lord. Through vibrant conversations, authentic speakers, and enriching prayer experiences, we equip you with the tools to embark on a profound spiritual journey.

Each season features speakers from diverse stages of life. These inspiring women offer participants deeper insight into scriptural teachings, theological truths, and practical wisdom.

Program Structure:

She Shall Be Called Woman is a parish-based women’s program. The gatherings blend insightful video presentations with intimate small-group discussions, fostering a supportive environment for growth.

The program begins in September and consists of 18 weeks – 9 weeks in the fall and 9 weeks in the spring. Each meeting consists of 3 essential elements: fellowship with refreshments, video presentation, and discussion within small groups.

Program Content:

Masterpiece of Creation (Fall Season)

Timeline: September – November

Goal: To truly understand the way the Lord views femininity is to live as one who is fully alive. In a world that often speaks in cliches and labels, God desires to reveal who He is through a greater understanding of who we are. This season will not only unpack the wealth of celebration of what Saint John Paul II called “The Feminine Genius” but will also give real advice on how to combat the mental, emotional, and spiritual challenges we, as women, face every day.

The Ten Virtues of Mary (Spring Season)

Timeline: January – April

Goal: The Blessed Mother is our perfect example of what it is to be a woman in love with the Lord. Saint Louis De Montfort defined ten virtues that Mary exhibited that defined her life. These virtues are challenging, but they aren’t impossible. This season will shed a deep light on each of these virtues while offering approachable tips on how these virtues can better your life, your friendship, and your family.

Make a Permanent Impression That Will Last Forever!

As part of Paradisus Dei’s Lift the Spire! campaign, we have developed naming opportunities within our Houston office center that provide an opportunity for a donor to make a permanent impression that will last forever. Honor your family’s name, a special family member or loved one, or pay tribute to someone who helped you by demonstrating your everlasting support for the beauty and dignity of Catholic family and marriage life which is the core of our mission at Paradisus Dei.

Your naming opportunity will be permanent and will be prominently displayed with a beautiful plaque pertinent to the naming opportunity you choose. Should Paradisus Dei move to a new facility in the future, your naming opportunity will be transferrable to a comparable space, to be agreed upon by the donor and Paradisus Dei.

Please contact our Vice President of Development, Len Bertolini, at
[email protected] or 630.242.0611 if you have questions or would like to discuss one of the naming opportunities.

Join Us On Mission:

If only 1% of TMIY Men helped to start one new Parish, we would be at 1000 parishes this fall.

In TMIY’s 20 years, we have reached over 150,000 men.  However, there are more men who have not experienced the formation and brotherhood of TMIY than those who have.  If you or someone you know needs something like That Man is You! join us on Mission to grow TMIY.  Visit our Mission Control page to find strategies and see our progress in growing TMIY and changing lives. TMIY Mission Control is your one stop online resource to assist you with inviting new parishes to join TMIY.

TMIY Mission Night is scheduled for April 24th at 7:00 pm CT.

Please help us fill the room as we share about what TMIY is, it’s impact and how a new parish can get started.

Mission Nights are online meetings for pastors, parish staff, and men who do not currently have TMIY at their parish.  Please help us get the word out. Whether it’s a phone call, text, DM, or email – you never know the impact you might have through the simple act of invitation.

TMIY – Lent is a Time to Invite Others on the Journey

Lent is a time to quiet our hearts and our lives and to return to what is essential – our relationship with the Lord.

Journeying with brothers throughout Lent has always been a highlight of the TMIY program. During this holy season of Lent, we want to ask you to invite other men, from your parish and beyond, to take this journey back to the Father’s heart with you.

Once men have experienced TMIY themselves, it’s natural that they will then want to keep coming or even bring TMIY to their home parish!

Who knows the impact that your one invitation can have on man, his family, and his parish?

TMIY registration for the Fall of 2024 opens on April 1st.

Live Filming & Veterans Visit with Fr. Mode

On February 15, Fr. Daniel Mode CHC (CAPT), USN, filmed a TMIY talk for the upcoming TMIY Year, Apostles of the New Springtime. Fr. Mode is the author of the book, The Grunt Padre, about the life of Servant of God, Fr. Vincent Capodanno. The message fits perfectly with the new year of TMIY’s section about modern-day apostles. Fr. Mode’s message on spiritual friendships and making friends with the saints and men and women of heroic virtue is sure to resonate with the men of That Man Is You.

Following the filming, Fr. Mode took the time to meet with local TMIY veterans who were able to view the filming live from a local conference room. Fr. Mode answered questions about Fr. Capodanno and his cause for canonization and shared more about his work as a chaplain. The meeting ended on a high note with Fr. Mode granting his challenge coin to the eldest veteran in the room, Deacon Dale Steffes.

You can learn more about the cause of canonization of Fr. Capodanno by going to the Guild website – https://www.capodannoguild.org/.

TMIY Spring Appeal is Underway!

The TMIY Spring Appeal is now in full swing, and our goal is $1.1 million.

TWO NEW OPPORTUNITIES THIS YEAR!

Premium Gift Program

As part of our Lift the Spire! campaign, we will be providing special gifts to individuals who contribute at two different levels to any of our programs including TMIY Appeals. Learn more about Lift the Spire and our Premium Gift Program.

TMIY Group Challenge Gifts

In Session 21, our VP of Development, Len Bertolini, speaks about the idea of men stepping forward to offer challenge gifts to their TMIY groups for the Spring Appeal. This idea stems from a generous gentleman in California who promised to contribute $10,000 if the rest of his group contributed $10,000 to last fall’s appeal. It brought excitement and enthusiasm to their appeal’s fund drive and the group met the challenge! We understand that not every group has a person who is able to make a $10,000 challenge gift. Your group’s challenge can be at whatever level makes sense for a willing donor and his TMIY group.

If you would like to issue a challenge to your group, you can bring the idea forward to your core team leader. If you wish to issue a challenge but want to remain anonymous, please contact Len at [email protected] and he will be happy to assist in moving your group’s challenge forward while keeping your identity anonymous.

Let’s see how many challenges we can get going for the Spring Appeal!
