Mysteries of the Rosary was written and hosted by Mark Hartfiel, Vice President of Paradisus Dei. The series also includes interviews with 24 guests, including laypeople and religious. It was filmed and edited by 4PM Media, the media company behind Wild Goose, Metanoia and the Rescue Project. Being passionately Catholic, the content relies heavily upon the teaching of the saints, Sacred Scripture and the Magisterium. In a special way, it was inspired by Pope Saint John Paul II and his Apostolic Letter on the Rosary, Rosarium Virginis Mariae.
The Joyful and Sorrowful Mysteries are available now. The Glorious Mysteries will launch on October 7th, 2024. The Luminous Mysteries will be released sometime in 2025-2026.
Mysteries of the Rosary is made up of seven 30-35 minute episodes. This first episode is an introduction to the series. Then, each of the five mysteries will have an entire episode dedicated to it. Finally, the last episode will serve as a conclusion to bring the series to a close. Participant guides are included for each episode with discussion questions and other reference materials.

Mysteries of the Rosary is all about entering more deeply into the life of Jesus Christ, through the gaze of The Blessed Mother. The full Rosary outlines twenty of these key moments. With beautiful imagery and contemplative insight into each mystery, the series allows for deeper personal reflection. The saints always made Jesus’ life the principal object of their study. By meditating on His virtues, joys and sufferings, they too were transformed. Therefore, Mysteries of the Rosary teaches the viewer both the art of living as well as the art of prayer.

The host of the series, Mark Hartfiel, will take the viewer to these places where Heaven seemed to have reached down and kissed the Earth. He will touch his Rosary to these sacred locations where Our Lord became flesh and dwelt among us. The series also highlights personal testimonies from people of all ages and backgrounds who share their spiritual experiences with the power of the Rosary.

We live in a time of unprecedented evil. Therefore, an overflowing of grace is being generously poured out. The call to pray is urgent. St. John Paul II testified that when Christianity itself seemed under threat, its deliverance was attributed to the power of the Rosary. He appealed to the faithful to rediscover the power of the Rosary in light of Scripture, calling it a Christocentric prayer that emphasizes the life of Jesus and the mysteries of his life. Discover the awesome power of just one Hail Mary and be inspired with an explosion of faith that can move mountains!

No, Mysteries of the Rosary is a reflective deep dive into each Mystery. It is a great tool that can be used to deepen your understanding and prayer based on each mystery, but the series itself does not pray the Rosary or teach specifically how to pray the Rosary. Praying the rosary before/after each episode is a great idea depending on how the series is watched.
