Core Team Focus
August
We are quickly approaching our start date in September. Therefore August is critical and will go a long way in determining the success of your program. The three most important activities during August are running the promotional campaign, registering men for TMIY and resolving the first session logistics.
August Checklist
- Purchase advertising materials by going to http://shop.paradisusdei.org.
- Schedule weekly or bi-weekly Core Team Meetings prior to your launch date.
- Schedule Pulpit and Cantor Announcements at your parish for multiple weekends.
- Schedule a registration table at Mass for multiple weekends. Coordinate with your team as to who will be at each Mass.
- Enter Registration Cards into your TMIY Class’s Roster page upon logging in, video here.
- Familiarize yourself with how to send weekly emails from the TMIY site, video here.
- Schedule a Dry Run a day or two prior to your launch date.
- Read through the Attraction Phase of the TMIY Manual for more detail and best practices.
- Don’t neglect PERSONAL CONTACT. 75% of the men will attend because someone personally invited them.
- If you haven’t held Core Team Training Meeting 1, please do so as soon as possible.
- Hold Core Team Training Meeting 2 by the end of the month. This will include Small Group Formation and Facilitation training.
